He was predeceased by: his father Harold Berlin; and his half-brother Danny Berlin. He is survived by: his close friend Michelle Oliwenstein; his mother Susan Dworkin; his stepfather David Dworkin; his sister Rachel Berlin (Gene); his nephew Jonah Berlin Bowen; his half-brothers, David Berlin (Jodi) and Gary Berlin (Dana); and his stepsister Elizabeth Dworkin (Michael).
