She is survived by: her spouse David Whitford Franklin; her cousins, Leiland Solomon and Martha Solomon; her great-aunt Ruby Woodard Peters; her brother-in-law Milton Franklin; her sons, Philip and Todd; her sister-in-law Dorothy Meade; her daughter Myrla Parrish; her grandson Galton Van Sluytman; her cousins, Barbara Young (Roscoe), Mary Grace McDade, Leslie Pinckney (Larry Stewart), Herbert Smith, Chloe Solomon, Diana Duggins, Renny Roker, Denise Gill, Miriam Horsford and Adele Roker; and also, Vivian and Barbara Thomas.
