Paul E. Schaefer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul E. Schaefer of South Hackensack, New Jersey, born in Pequannock, New Jersey, who passed away on January 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Schaefer and Mary Schaefer; his father-in-law Ilidio Goncalves; and his brother-in-law Jay Green. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel and Stephen (Betty Schaefer); his brother Louis; his sister-in-law Irma Schaefer; his sister Jane Mary Green; his aunt Ann Kern; and his pet Chase "Coconuts". He is also survived by friends, neighbors and cherished coworkers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home (397 Union St, Hackensack, NJ 07601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (49 Vreeland Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601).
