He was predeceased by: his wife Carmela Di Piazza; his siblings, Benedito Mea (Paolina) and Nicola Amabile Mea (late Rosa); and his siblings-in-law, Frank Trupio (Connie), Vincenzo, Vincenza Di Piazza and Giuseppe Di Piazza.
He is survived by: his grandson Domenico; his child Domenick Mea (Immacolata); his sibling Nicolina Vertuccio (late Giovanni); his siblings-in-law, Angelo and Francesca Fragapane; his nephew Antonio; his nieces, Giuseppina and Nancy; his great-nephew Vito; his nephews, Michael and Gaetano; and his niece Rosa.
