She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard B. Falato; her son Leonard S. Falato; her siblings, Lorraine Ebel, Roseann Ammerman, Phyllis Wiskow and Charles Mazzoni; and her brother-in-law John Falato (late Josephine).

She is survived by: her children, Lorrie Lengyel (Ted) and Jamie Ziegelhofer (Bryan); her grandchildren, Tyler, Summer (Billy), Brian, Trey and Danica; her great grandchild Charlotte Grace; her sister Rita Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Panagia (William) and Doris Iacono (Philip).

“I will never forget your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and beloved family member. She was the epitome of kindness, cheerfulness, and friendliness. She was a faithful friend through good times and bad. For instance, when few people acknowledged my mother, Katherine, who suffered from schizophrenia, Anita would ALWAYS invite my mom to her home and treat her with respect and generosity of spirit. "Bring your mother when you come!" she would say. I CAN still hear her voice!”
