He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Balbuena; his children, Ariel Martinez (Juana Segura), Yelisa Matias (Bernardo), Melvin Martinez (Laura Santos), Solainy Castillo (Johnly) and Onerlis Martinez (Edil); and his siblings, Mercedes, Ada Iris, Cecilia Mary Rose, Genara, David, Bolivar and Jique Martinez. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
