He was predeceased by: his parents, Rich Murphy and Marge Murphy; and his brother Rich Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his siblings, Jimmy (Judy Murphy), Mickey (Ceil Murphy), Danny (Janet) and Joe (Roe Murphy); and his siblings-in-law, Tommy and Dana Cumella. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
