James G. Sullivan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James G. Sullivan of South Amboy, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Helen; and his siblings, Eileen, Patricia, Joseph and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Danuta; his children, James P. Sullivan and Malvina Sullivan; and his siblings, Theresa and Timothy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gerity & Chubenko Funeral Home (411 Amboy Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James R. C. Church (145 Grove St, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095).
