He was predeceased by: his wife Romona Malowicki Collins; his parents, James Collins and Mary Collins; and his brothers, Joseph Collins and Michael Collins.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerard J. Collins (Mary) of Roxboro, NC and Thomas R. Collins (Odalis) of South Amboy; his granddaughters, Kerry Ann Morrone (Joseph Morrone) of White Plains, NY and Kimberly Collins of South Amboy, NJ; and his great grandchild Lucia Morrone.
