He was predeceased by: his parents, William Butler and Jane Butler. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wildgen Butler; and his sister Maureen Mikolajczak (Joe). He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, 14 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Bill's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis TN.
