We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 89, Walter A. Sowden Sr. of Somerville, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Jr. and Beatrice Sowden; his wife Joan; and his siblings, John Sowden III and Myrna Streich.
He is survived by: his pet Coal; his children, Jen, Walt Jr. (Pam), David (Lisa), Richie (Kathy) and Paul Sowden (Diane); and his grandchildren, Tara, Travis, Joshua, Kristin, Andrew, Daniel, Marc, Brian, Katie, Shawn of Jessica, P. J. and Graham. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
