It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Hunt Sr. of Somerville, New Jersey, born in Raritan, New Jersey, who passed away on June 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Hunt and Margaret Hunt (McDonough); his siblings, Lester R Hunt and Ella Gaghan; and his son-in-law Russel Hoppaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hunt (Gallo); his children, Linda Kanewski of Martins Creek, PA, Mark Hunt (Brenda) of Whitehouse, Bobby Hunt (Shawn) of Annandale, Brenda Hoppaugh of Califon, Rhonda Sladden (Bill) of Flemington and Todd Hunt of Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Sydney Sladden, Kelly Williams (Thomas), Ashley Sladden, Kari Hoppaugh, Nicole Dahl (Jeff), Robert Hunt, Danielle Hunt, Shawn Hunt (Elise), Shannon Story, Ryan Kanewski (Mary) and Joel Kanewski (Cheryl). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren.
