In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard Henry Van shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard Henry Van farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claretha Van Ness (Robinson) and Harry Van Ness; and his brother Kenneth Van Ness. He is survived by: his wife Lori Van Ness; his son Donald Emanuel Jr.; his granddaughter Cassidy Emanuel; and his pet Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cusick Funeral Home (80 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876).
