She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Atwood and Melrose Atwood; and her husband Peter Zaccardo. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy (Ralph); her granddaughters, Briana (Adam) and Brittany (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Aidan, Damon, Blake, Jesse and River; and her siblings, Katherine Messenger and Buena Atkinson (Winston). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Jude's Children Hospital as her grand and great grandchildren were the light of her life.
