She was predeceased by: her mother Carol Garland-Floyd; her half-brother Tupac Shakur; and her uncle Brock Garland. She is survived by: her father William Garland (Alyx Garland); her stepfather Les Floyd; her sisters, Leslie Floyd and Takerra Allen-Taylor (Barry Taylor); her stepsister Sienna Rowland; her brothers, Landon Garland (Erica), Carlos Malik Garland and William Garland Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Naomi, Brianna, Chambray, Tanaia, Laila, Jasmine, Ashtyn, Malcolm, David and Marcus; her aunts, Tina Watson-Travis, Yvonne Watson and Tiffany Garland; and her uncle Tony Watson.

After graduation, she returned to her hometown and accepted a position at Somerville Easter Seals Foundation.
