She was predeceased by: her parents, James Doonan and Mary Doonan; her son Peter; her daughter-in-law Joanie; her grandson Jimmy; and her daughter Christine.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Higgins; her children, James Higgins (Kathy) and Cathleen Higgins (Sean); her son-in-law Stephen Smith, Sr. (Robert Higgins); and her grandchildren, Joseph, Peter, Stephen, Ryan, Robert, Brian, Maureen Ann and Kaitlyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Cusick Funeral Home (80 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876).
