It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Amparo Valenzuela (Somerville, New Jersey), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Otto Meija of Jackson Heights, NY, Shenny Meija (Sunny) and Zoila Meija of Antigua, Guatemala.; her grandchildren, Susan, Javier and Andrew; her great grandchildren, James, Kevin and Irene Meija; her extended family, Kevin, Alicia Obser, Marcus, Valeria Obser, Erika and Tom Papp; and also, Liam, Collin, Chloe, Tristan, Luke, Robert, Kiera and Andrew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cusick Funeral Home (80 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876).
