He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Yakup; and his sister Joann Yakup. He is survived by: his children, Linda Yakup-Epstein (Steven) and Joseph J. Yakup (Melissa); his grandchildren, Terri Rentiers (Bill), Sara Brewer (Nathan), Mitchel Epstein and Anna Yakup; and his great grandchildren, Kailyn, Tyler and William.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home (111 N Gaston Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876).
