She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Bloomer; her son Glenn Bloomer; and her siblings, Carol and Norman Hayward. She is survived by: her sons, Peter Bloomer (Patty) and Clark Bloomer (Laurie); her grandchildren, Landon, Jena, Caitlin and Ethan; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Emma and Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan Bloomer, to Bound Brook Presbyterian Church or the Laurel Circle Benevolent Fund.
