He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Diaz-Piedra and Miguel Diaz-Piedra; and his brother Michael Diaz-Piedra. He is survived by: his wife Dyanne Diaz-Piedra (Chalmers); his sons, Daniel and Patrick Diaz-Piedra; and his sister Anna Shaloo.
