We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 85, Frederick W. Cortelyou (Somerville, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frederick W. departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Frederick W. may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Frederick W. leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cortelyou and Anna Cortelyou; his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Lucretia Cortelyou; and his nephew Mark Cortelyou.
He is survived by: his nephew Gary (Meg); his great-niece Sara; his great-nephews, Brian and John; and also Kathy.
