She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Dow and Mabel Stryker Dow; her husband Elmer W. Schaal Jr.; and her daughter Patricia Schaal. She is survived by: her son-in-law Robert O'Connor; her son Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Donna Schaal; her daughter Stacy; her son-in-law Christopher Bain; her granddaughter Jenna Schaal-O'Connor; her daughter Lauren (Lasin-Tum); and her son-in-law Klaus Tum.
