She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; and her grandson Christopher. She is survived by: her parents, Michael Checchia and Norma Checchia; her brother Joseph Checchia; her children, Kathleen, Peter, Kevin, Shawn, Dennis and Brendan; and her grandchildren, Michael, Florinda, Patrick, Thomas, Luke, Daniel, Colin, Elena, Mae, Sarah, Cara, Timothy and Valerie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 14 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville, N.J. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Doctors Without Borders, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
