He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bennett and Mary Bennett; his sister Katie Bennett; his brother-in-law John Hochadel; and his niece Allison Bennett.
He is survived by: his son Ed Bennett; his siblings, Mary Hochadel, Carrie Newell (Donnie), Sue Elgard (Edward) and Harry Bennett (Linda); his nephew John; and his nieces, Kira, Jessica, Katie, Sarah and Megan.
