With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar R. Jones Jr. (Somerville, New Jersey), who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida May and Edgar R. Jones Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret B. Jones; his grandson Colin James Turton; his siblings, Harry, Bertha, Mary, Lil and Fannie; his children, Carol Meier (Steve) of Somerville and Thomas Jones (Thea) of Franklin Park; his granddaughters, Kelly and Laura; his stepgrandsons, Steven and Derrick; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Zoe and Zara; and his siblings, Candi Kaumo and Leroy Jones.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Somerville Rescue Squad.
