He is survived by: his sons, Marc Herbst (Lori) and Jason Herbst (Maureen); his grandchildren, Victoria, Scott and Justin; and his siblings, John Herbst, Donald Herbst (Susan) and Diane Scalesi. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
