It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles David Ruff (Somerville, New Jersey), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Ruff and Lowell H. Ruff; his wife Dorothy J. Thatcher; his brother Lowell H. Ruff, Jr.; and his stepdaughter Barbara J. Sackie.

He is survived by: his sister Nancy Ruff DeWeese of Bethany Beach, DE; his stepchildren, Dorothy A. Munoz, Robert M. Thatcher, Susan L. Lausterer, Lorlyn M. Reedy, Stephen E. Thatcher and David B. Thatcher; and his children, Karen R. Noll, Philip Ruff and Judith Ruff. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
