Big Mike Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Big Mike (Somerville, New Jersey), born in Plainfield, New Jersey, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy and Paul F. LaCosta Sr.; and his brother-in-law Michael D'Arco. He is survived by: his children, Erin and Michael; his siblings, Mary Ann D'Arco, Lucille Davino (Anthony), Paula LaCosta, Paul F. LaCosta Jr. (Susan), John LaCosta and Robert LaCosta (Vincezina); his nieces and nephews, Guinevere, Jessica, Angelique, Kelli, Lucy, John Peter, Maggie, Nicholas, Paul III and Isabella; and his friend Zoom. He is also survived by several cousins and good friends.
For social distancing purposes, his family (ONLY) will attend a funeral service on Friday May 7, 2021 at 10 am at Somerville's St. John's Episcopal Church where he was a parishioner.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Big Mike's honor to St. John.
