She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Suk and Anna Irene Suk (Woytovich); and her husband Clifford Van Arsdale. She is survived by: her brother Richard (Rosemary); her children, Dr. Diane Van Arsdale (Tom Harris), Dr. Carol Reinhardt (Chris), Terry (Jill) and Charles (Tammy); her nephews, Edwin (Eleanor), Richard (Beryl), Robert (Adonia) and Steven (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Laura, Ross, Michael, Ben, Doug and Eric; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Matt and Silas.
