He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Neal, Sr. and Hallie Cooper Neal; and his wife Deaconess Margaret Neal. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert B. Neal and John D. Neal Jr. Cherishing; his children, Debra Piner (Maurice), Jackie Small, Willie Neal, Jr. (Yvonne), Rev. Kim Neal, Joy Howard (Stanley), Donna Johnson (Sebrone), Ilan Norville and David L. Kelley, II; his godson Keith Webb; and his sisters, Dottie Neal, Fannie Henderson, Regina Webb (Palm) and Esther Sutton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
