He is survived by: his wife Marie Fama-McDermott; his children, Kaitlyn and Vincent; his parents-in-law, Samuel and Viola Fama; his sister-in-law Sarah Fama of Mickleton; his father Vincent J. McDermott, Sr. (Karen); his siblings, Christian, Jesse and Esther; his grandfather Carmen Crea Sr. of North Brunswick; his uncle John McDermott; his aunt Lorie; and his cousins, Dylan, Sean and Lily of Milltown. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home (1360 Hamilton St, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations for Kaitlyn's and Vincent's further education or an animal shelter of your choice in Vinnie's memory.
