He is survived by: his wife Nancy Engineer; his brother John J. Egan; his grandson Colin P. Murphy; his wife Nancy Egan of Somerset; his children, Thomas J. Egan (Joanne) of Verona and Kathleen Murphy (Ed) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Morgan Murphy, Jared Egan, Kaitlin Egan and Melanie Egan; and also, Egan Engineer and Chemical Engineer.
