It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rudolph M. Bell of Somerset, New Jersey, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bell and Aimee Bell; and his sister Carol Bell. He is survived by: his wife Laura Tomicic; his daughters, Tara (Steve Giovannetti) and Alessia Bell (Mark Proctor); his brothers, Richard (Katie Bell) and Ronnie (Melinda Bell); and his grandchildren, Gabriela, Luca, Katia, Carolina, Alex, Juliette, Rudy, Tara and Alessia.

“To Rudy’s Family, You were so fortunate to have such a kind and humble light in your life. I only met Rudy once, happenstance, at a Rutgers Italian Department event. Him and I were sitting next to each other conversing about beloved trips to Italy. I had absolutely no clue I was sitting next to the Rudy Bell whose enlightening work I read so many times.
