He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyman Mednick and Malvina Mednick; and his sister Sondra Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Iris; his son Joshua; his daughter-in-law Kendra Mednick of New York City, NY; his daughters, Allison (Johnny Harris) and Jodi Starr; and also David Tawil of San Antonio, Texas.

In his loving memory the family requests donations be made to the Atlantic Home Care & Hospice, 465 South Street, Suite 100, Morristown, NJ 07960, or to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, National Processing Center, PO Box 1245, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
