We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2022, at the age of 88, Robert F. Waegelein of Somerset, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine M. Waegelein; his siblings, Edward Waglin (Jo) and Dorothy (Thomas Harwood); his brother-in-law Joseph Chernik; and his sister Janet Chernik.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Anne Dowd, Kathleen Soriano (Bruce) of Piscataway, Robert A. (Anna) of North Hills, NY, Eileen Colagrande (John) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Heidi Hansberry (Kevin) of Parsippany; his grandchildren, Katieanne, Robert T., Jacklyn, Robert F., Kerri, Jeanette, Elizabeth, Emily, Megan, Seamus, Liam and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Sadie, Emilia and Robert A.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
