We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2018, at the age of 89, Phyllis Douglis (Somerset, New Jersey), born in Kendall Park, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Woody Douglis; her parents, Bertha Bash and Morris Bash; her sons, Michael and Fred; her daughter-in-law Lisa Bahler; and her grandchildren, Allison Douglis and Pierce Douglis. She is also survived by friend and aide during her last six years, Millicent Hawthorne; a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends supporting the Southern Poverty Law Center.
