He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Vega and Isabel Santiago Vega. He is survived by: his sons, Justin A. Vega and Dylan M. Vega; and his siblings, Jose Vega, Angel Vega, Hector Vega, Diego Vega, Orlando Vega, Edwin Vega, Josefina Vega, Rosa Vega Neer, Sonia Vega and Elsa Valentino. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
