He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pincus Stahl and Yetta Stahl; his sister Charlotte Shelby (David); his wife Laurel Stahl; his children, Eric Stahl of Delran, Jody Lefkowitz (Daniel) of Somerset and Dana Mermelstein (David) of Washington, DC.; and his grandchildren, Rachel Lefkowitz (Ryan Sorensen), Matthew Lefkowitz (Samantha), Aaron, Jacob Mermelstein and Aislinn Stahl. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
