He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve Asmar; his son Paul Asmar; and his brother Antoine Asmar. He is survived by: his daughter Mary; his son-in-law Charles Smith of Somerset; his son Peter Asmar of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Joseph, Michael and Melissa; his great grandchild Brooke; and his siblings, Antoinette, Joseph, Marie, Rosette and Isabelle of Lebanon.
