He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Kerry McElhaney; his father John McElhaney; his stepfather Casper Piersanti; his wife Eileen McElhaney (Gilhooly); his son John; his daughter-in-law Lindsay McElhaney of Helmetta; his grandson Connor; his mother Patricia Piersanti (Moore) of Somerset; his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Cornelia Piersanti of Stockton; his sister Patricia; and his brother-in-law Christopher Gioe of Hillsborough.
