It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Ossandon (Somerset, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Meg Ossandon; and his siblings, Elton Ossandon and Peggy Tomko. He is survived by: his wife Ellin; his daughters, Gail Jones (David), Jane Ossandon-Schönfeld (Matthias), Carol and Detlef Höpfner; and his grandchildren, Lucas Gilbert Höpfner, Tristan Schönfeld and Anya Höpfner.
