He is survived by: his wife Randa Jean Powell of Lawndale, NC.; his daughters, Pam Lucas (John) of Charlotte, NC, Sonya Powell of Somerset, NJ and Kimberly Powell of North Brunswick, NJ; his grandchildren, Nachanta, Asha, Jahira, William and Aubrey; his great grandchildren, Aubri and Nhuri; and his siblings, Aubrey Powell, Ron Powell, Evelyn Kelley, Johnella McFarland, Alice Green and Charlene Craddock (Willie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
