We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2021, at the age of 86, Elia Catanese (Somerset, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Ciriaco Capone; her pet Rocky; her daughter Anna Biunno (Richard); her grandchildren, Isabella and Joseph of Piscataway; and her sister Pasqualina Capone. She is also survived by 3 nieces and 6 nephews.
As a selfless and giving soul, Elia supported orphanages in Italy and went on several Padre Pio pilgrimages in the US and abroad to adore the saint's charity, piety, and healing.
