He was predeceased by: his brother Alfrdo Otero. He is survived by: his wife Maligros Romero-Otero; his sons, Michael Otero and Edwin Otero Jr.; and his siblings, Ralph Otero, Ada Torres and Ruth Olivera. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home of North Brunswick (555 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Jamesburg, NJ 08831).
