It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beatrice Cohen of Somerset, New Jersey, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Perlin and Molly Perlin; her husband Saul Cohen; her son Gerald Bernstein; and her brothers, Milton and Mike Perlin.
She is survived by: her sons, Mitchel Bernstein (Laura San Roman) and Alan Bernstein (Janice Weinberg); and her grandchildren, Cara, Taylor, Serena, Talia, Danny, Shawn and Maureen. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1098 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge, NJ 07095).
The family kindly requests that donations be made in Beatrice's memory to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter, 475 Demott Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873, in honor of her deep love for animals.
