He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ertel (Pulliza); his son Joe Ertel; his siblings, Leenie Ertel-Klickovich (Jim), Valerie Ertel-Blackman (Robert) and Joseph Ertel; and his nieces and nephews, Erica, Matt, Caycee, Bob, Brian and Sarah.
