He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eckerson and Carolyn Eckerson (Hussa). He is survived by: his children, John Eckerson of Rye, NY, Judith DeMar (Brian) of Chantilly, VA and Jeffrey Eckerson (Karin) of Pennington, NJ; and his siblings, Ellen Yamrick of Hollywood, FL and Garrett Eckerson of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a niece and nephew.
