It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Louise Whelan of Somerdale, New Jersey, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Whelan; her daughter Patricia; and her son-in-law John Walton. She is survived by: her daughters, Denyse Whelan, Dianne Walton, Beth Ann Liggett (George) and Paula Hedderick (Jeff); her grandsons, Tosh Kapij, Christopher Walton, Nick Hedderick and JP Hedderick; her great grandchild Alexis Kapij; and her nieces, CathyAnn Moncrief, Sharon Hinke and Loranne Aspers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (200 E Clements Bridge Rd, Runnemede, NJ 08078). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodbury Memorial Park (879 Kings Hwy, West Deptford, NJ 08096).
