He was predeceased by: his brother Jack Flanagan. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Joseph Flanagan III (Venla), Sean Flanagan (Jennifer), Brian Flanagan (Michelle Armour), Colleen Benowitz and Timothy Flanagan (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jonathan, A. J. Benowitz, Fiona, Liam Oikkonen and Isaac Flanagan; and his siblings, Patricia Lovett of Michael Flanagan and Jerry Flanagan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
