He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; and his sibling Adelaide Gill. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Merhar (Dennis), Steven Lucas (Linda), Richard Lucas and Patty Wilson (late William); and his sister Agnes Stemelski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
